A new office park was proposed in Pietermaritzburg, situated at the intersection of George MacFarlane Lane and Howick Road. Jinyela (Pty) Ltd was commissioned to conduct a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) to support the development application.
The primary objectives of this TIA are to:
- Quantify the additional traffic volumes generated by the proposed office park.
- Evaluate the impact of this traffic on the existing surrounding road network.
- Identify necessary infrastructure improvements to mitigate potential congestion and maintain road safety.
- Provide technical recommendations regarding site access requirements.
